The first step to changing pain and moving with more ease is awareness. Join Shelly Prosko, Physical Therapist and Professional Yoga Therapist, in this inspiring 45 minutes morning yoga practice where she will guide you through breath and body awareness practices that can be used to help empower your patients to reduce and manage persistent pelvic and/or abdominal pain. You will also enjoy a gentle, physical yoga practice including poses and movement sequences using Pain Care Yoga movement guidelines while integrating self-regulation practices, mindfulness, breathing and yoga philosophy.
You will experience these biopsychosocial techniques that you can immediately use with your patients to enhance safe and successful participation in their pain rehabilitation. As a bonus, you get to start the day with some well deserved self-care!
